Welcome to MathHog Tutors

At MathHog Tutors, we assist students from 5th Grade through Algebra 1, Our program fosters enrichment, development, and academic excellence. When students are given the opportunity to learn the right way, they become curious, attentive, and engaged.

We use a Socratic Method of learning, so students can gain a deeper meaning of concepts, procedures, and strategies through higher-level questioning. Using the Socratic Method, students improve their problem solving and critical thinking, which allows them to make reasonable and logical choices.

Our Approach

At MathHog Tutors, our approach is quite simple. We discuss your concerns as a parent, then we address those concerns using different instructional methods and practice in order for students to gain a conceptual understanding of math while improving their skills, confidence, and love for math.

Our Virtual Sessions

MathHog Tutors will only be providing one-on-one and camps online using Zoom. If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s math skills heading into the Winter 2024 school year, please give us a call.
